I can't remember if I fired all 14 or just 13...

The Clinton gun ban will expire on September 13 if Congress will allow it. Unfortunately, the anti-gun activists across the nation are making a concerted effort to extend the life of this useless legislation.
Over the next few weeks true Americans must remain extremely vigilant against any attempt by the anti-gunners to reauthorize this legislation. Congress will be in session for only 7 more work days before the sunset date arrives, and because time is short, the anti-gunners are redoubling their efforts to extend the ban.
If you value the right to keep and bear arms, I invite you to browse the following website:

Contact your Representative and Senators TODAY and urge them to oppose H.R. 3831 and S. 2498 at all costs, and any other legislation seeking to extend the so-called "assault weapons" ban.
The Clintonista wasted little time in 1992 in seizing upon “assault weapons” as a political issue. Along with “midnight basketball” and the never-to-be-fulfilled promise of 100,000 new police officers, it quickly became part of an effort to transform concern for public safety into a political issue.
"Assault weapons" were the target mainly because they look dangerous. So, if they look dangerous then, obviously, in the illogical mind of the liberal, only dangerous people would have them. Of course, by law, not everybody in American can buy a firearm - felons, drug addicts, illegal aliens and fugitives from justice can not possess or own firearms of any kind.
The class of weapons that encompass 'assault weapons" is semi-automatic. All semi-automatic means is that each time you pull the trigger, it fires a round without haven't to manually chamber a fresh round. That's it. Semi-automatic firearms have been around for more than a century and are used by millions of Americans for hunting, self-defense, and recreational target shooting.
"Gun control” advocates claim that criminals by and large use "assault weapons" to commit crimes. But even the rabidly anti-gun Washington Post admits, “Assault weapons play a part in only a small percentage of crime.
There are no statistics to base this claim upon! Data from police experts have been deliberately avoided by those pushing "assault weapons" bills. An internal memorandum to California Assistant Attorney General Patrick Kenady stated
“Information on assault weapons would not be sought from forensics laboratories as it was unlikely to support the theses on which the “Assault Weapons” ban legislation would be based.”
Members of Congress who voted for the Clintonista ban in 1994 (and you should look up who voted for it and get them out of office) disregarded any hard evidence, instead manipulating facts in such a way that BATF trace data “proved” widespread criminal “assault weapon” use. These Clintonista accomplices completely ignored the Congressional Research Service’s finding that:
Firearms selected for tracing . . . cannot be considered representative of the larger universe of all firearms used by criminals, or of any subset of that universe. As a result, data from the tracing system may not be appropriate for drawing inferences such as which makes or models of firearms are used for illicit purposes.
The "assault weapon" ban was unjust and should NEVER be a law again. Don't allow this ban to be re-enacted. Call your senators and representatives today!

The Sniper would like to thank the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms and the National Rifle Association - Institute for Legislative Action for their vigilance and for providing in correspondence and and on their website most of the information presented here. http://www.nraila.org/
