One score and eight

Has anyone ever considered what John Kerry would have done with the situation in Iraq back in 2002? With the credible evidence before him in 2002 that Saddam Hussein was still moving forward with his efforts to produce and acquire weapons of mass destruction, what would John Kerry have done?

The other day, Senator Kerry stated,
"It's absolutely impossible and irresponsible to suggest that if I were president, he wouldn't necessarily be gone. He might be gone. Because if he hadn't complied (with U.N. demands), we might have had to go to war."
Which U.N. demands is Senator Kerry referring to? By 2002, there had been 17 resolutions in force against Saddam since the end of the 1991 Gulf War with which Saddam had not complied. Even if Kerry's magic number of resolutions were 18, he still stated that "we might have."

In true Kerry-form, Senator Kerry has left open his position by sounding tough but saying nothing substantial. So the question remains, could we expect the same Kerry "resolve" when dealing with another 9/11 terrorist attack? What would the criteria be for decisive military action by a Kerry Administration?

I think the terrorists themselves have answered these questions for us. The latest Al-Qaeda video states that the streets will run red with blood if we re-elect George Bush, as punishment of the American people for having the audacity to punish them for 9/11. So, the terrorists want John Kerry to be elected.

Why would the terrorists care who gets elected here? Don't they hate all Americans? Well, of course they do. But they hate John Kerry less because they know that a Kerry Administration will be willing to absorb Americans being killed abroad without taking any military punitive actions, just like the Clinton Administration failed to act in response to the WTC bombing, the embassy bombings, the downing of Flight 800, the Khobar Towers bombing, and the USS Cole bombing. A criminal investigation is not an appropriate response to an act of war!

If Kerry gets elected next week, and we are attacked by terrorists in the near future, what will Kerry do to respond? We know what George Bush will do. So do the terrorists. Maybe that's why 10 out of 10 terrorists support John Kerry for President.
